This single origin coffee comes from the Horizon Supreme washing station in Huye district, southern Rwanda, located at 1,700 meters elevation. The coffee features Red Bourbon variety and is processed using the natural method, where cherries are dried whole on raised beds. This enhances fruity flavors and creates a fuller body. The facility was revitalized in late 2018 by Fidele, an experienced coffee processor. The coffee exhibits flavor notes of apricot, almond, and sugarcane.

After more than eight years of preparation, Manta Ray Coffee Roasters opened their flagship roastery in Nunawading, Melbourne, in October 2022. The industrial chic space features a visible roasting area framed by large windows, inviting visitors into the process. Drawing on a background in film color grading, the team approaches roasting as a form of creative expression, seeking to reveal depth and character in every batch. Award winners at the 2019 Roasters Smackdown and 2023 ASCA competitions, they offer their signature Outsider Blend alongside rotating single origins and an automated pour over experience at the bar.
