Honduras - Pino de Oro
Brûlerie du QuaiAbout This Coffee
This natural Geisha coffee is from the Pino de Oro farm in the Santa Bárbara mountains of Honduras. The farm is managed by third-generation grower Oscar Tinoco Madrid, who won the Cup of Excellence in 2011 and recently placed fourth with this Geisha variety, which he has been cultivating for four years. The coffee is processed using the natural method, with cherries dried whole in the sun on drying beds and regularly turned for even drying. Rated 90 points, it features a vibrant floral profile with jasmine, hibiscus, and rose notes, complemented by fruity accents of strawberry, lychee, and mandarin, with touches of peach, lemongrass, honeydew melon, and white grape.
