This Ethiopian single-origin coffee comes from Mr. Tadese Teko, a dedicated farmer in Shale village near Worka in the Yirgacheffe region. Part of the Single Farmer Project, this lot is sourced from the Gedeb district of the Gedeo Zone in Southern Ethiopia. The coffee is grown at elevations between 1780-2100 meters across Mr. Tadese's 8-hectare farm. It features mixed heirloom varieties and undergoes washed processing. The coffee is grown using only natural fertilizers made from organic waste, with no chemical fertilizers applied. This Grade 1 lot was selected and separated for its exceptional quality. The cup profile offers floral notes with yellow peach, pear, and honey characteristics.

Manta Ray Coffee Roasters
After more than eight years of preparation, Manta Ray Coffee Roasters opened their flagship roastery in Nunawading, Melbourne, in October 2022. The industrial chic space features a visible roasting area framed by large windows, inviting visitors into the process. Drawing on a background in film color grading, the team approaches roasting as a form of creative expression, seeking to reveal depth and character in every batch. Award winners at the 2019 Roasters Smackdown and 2023 ASCA competitions, they offer their signature Outsider Blend alongside rotating single origins and an automated pour over experience at the bar.
