This Ethiopian coffee comes from the Banko Gotiti cooperative in the Gedeb district of the Gedeo Zone, near Yirgacheffe. The cooperative was established in 2012 and comprises approximately 300 members. The coffee is grown at altitudes between 1,600 and 2,300 meters above sea level. It features mixed heirloom Ethiopian varieties and is processed using the natural method. The coffee is dried on raised beds. Flavor notes include white florals, dried mango, blueberry, and black tea. This is a G1 grade coffee, roasted as an espresso roast.

After more than eight years of preparation, Manta Ray Coffee Roasters opened their flagship roastery in Nunawading, Melbourne, in October 2022. The industrial chic space features a visible roasting area framed by large windows, inviting visitors into the process. Drawing on a background in film color grading, the team approaches roasting as a form of creative expression, seeking to reveal depth and character in every batch. Award winners at the 2019 Roasters Smackdown and 2023 ASCA competitions, they offer their signature Outsider Blend alongside rotating single origins and an automated pour over experience at the bar.
