About This Coffee

This anaerobic natural processed coffee is from Ethiopia's Yirgacheffe region, specifically from the Aricha washing station in the Edido kebele, about 8 kilometers from Yirgacheffe Town. Grown at 1850-1880 meters altitude in red-brown clay soils, the coffee features mixed heirloom varieties. The region is known for its warm tropical climate with moderate wet and dry seasons, where most coffee is shade-grown by small producers using organic practices. Flavor notes include floral, freeze dried raspberry, and stewed rhubarb, with the region famous for producing coffees with blueberry-like characteristics.
