About This Coffee

This is a Grade 1 natural processed coffee from the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia, specifically from the Choriso district within the Gedeo Zone. Processed at the Haroberdame Washing Station at 2,350 meters elevation. Hand-picked by 257 smallholder farmers managing plots of 0.375-0.75 hectares each. Features heirloom varieties Dega and Kurume grown in semi-forested farms intercropped with enset and legumes. Cherries are sun-dried on raised African beds for over 20 days. Flavor notes include floral, loquat, and berries. Roasted as a filter roast.

The industrial chic space features a visible roasting area framed by large windows, inviting visitors into the process. Drawing on a background in film color grading, the team approaches roasting as a form of creative expression, seeking to reveal depth and character in every batch. Award winners at the 2019 Roasters Smackdown and 2023 ASCA competitions, they offer their signature Outsider Blend alongside rotating single origins and an automated pour over experience at the bar.
