Pink Amaretto is a microlot Natural-processed coffee from Finca Pocitos in Veracruz, Mexico, grown at 1380 meters altitude. Produced by Carlos Cadena, winner of 1st place at the 2024 Cup of Excellence (experimental category). The variety is Mundo Maya, a modern hybrid developed by ECOM-CIRAD crossing a Sarchimor line with Ethiopian landrace genetics (ET01). Cherries are dried whole on raised beds for 30–40 days. The cup offers bold notes of cranberry, hibiscus, and almond liqueur, with jammy red wine, vanilla, and a winey, vibrant acidity and long, elegant finish.
