About This Coffee

Mutheru is a single-origin Kenyan coffee from Mutheru Factory in Murang'a, Central Region, grown at 1,750–1,850 masl. It is a blend of Batian, Ruiru-11, SL-28 and SL-34 varieties, processed using a fully washed method (12–24h fermentation, 24h soak) and dried on raised beds. Tasting notes include red currant, yellow plum and light caramel, and it is roasted for both filter and espresso preparations.
