This coffee is produced by Evin Moreno and his wife Alma from their farm La Montañita in El Cedral, Santa Barbara, Honduras at 1620 meters altitude. The coffee is Pacas variety, fully washed processed. It features a sweet and well-rounded profile with flavor notes of honey cake, pear, and pecan pie. This marks the sixth year of purchasing from Evin and Alma, who are producing some of the most thought-provoking coffees in the region. Their approach is founded on transparency, and since 2018, they have published the "farmgate" price they pay directly to producers. They focus on building partnerships with producers, whom they see as professional colleagues.
