La Virgen is a washed coffee from Guadalupe, Huila, Colombia, grown by smallholder farmers at altitudes of 1,400 to 2,000 masl. This is the non-decaf control version within The Decaf Project, a global initiative exploring the impact of different decaffeination methods. Varieties include Caturra, Colombia, and Castillo. Flavor notes include praline tart, red berries, and lemon tart, with bright acidity, clean sweetness, and floral complexity.
