This single origin espresso is from Kenya's Mathioya region at 1600-1900 meters elevation. The coffee is washed processed and features varietals SL-28, Batian, Ruiru-11, and K7. Sourced from Gondo wet mill, part of New Kiriti FCS cooperative with 727 active members. The cherries are selectively hand-picked, pulped the same day, fermented for 16-18 hours, washed and graded, then sun-dried to 10.5-11.5% moisture content. Flavor notes include floral, preserved plum, and pomegranate.

Manta Ray Coffee Roasters
After more than eight years of preparation, Manta Ray Coffee Roasters opened their flagship roastery in Nunawading, Melbourne, in October 2022. The industrial chic space features a visible roasting area framed by large windows, inviting visitors into the process. Drawing on a background in film color grading, the team approaches roasting as a form of creative expression, seeking to reveal depth and character in every batch. Award winners at the 2019 Roasters Smackdown and 2023 ASCA competitions, they offer their signature Outsider Blend alongside rotating single origins and an automated pour over experience at the bar.
