This Kenyan coffee is from the Muranga region at 1750 meters altitude. It is produced by the Kagumoini Coffee Factory, part of the Kamacharia Farmers' Cooperative Society supported by more than 1300 active smallholder members. The varieties include SL-28, Ruiru-11, and Batian, grown on rich red volcanic soils with temperatures between 16 to 26 degrees celsius. The coffee undergoes classic Kenyan washed processing with overnight fermentation followed by soaking, washing and slow drying on raised beds. The flavor profile features yellow peach, red berries, and caramel with a clean, structured finish.
