About This Coffee

This single-origin coffee comes from the Gichatha-ini Factory in Nyeri, Kenya, a central hub for over 800 smallholders part of the Gikanda Farmers Cooperative Society. Grown at 1700–1900 MASL on rich volcanic soil, it features varieties SL-34, SL-28, K7, and Ruiru-11. Processed using an experimental natural method where cherries are dried on plastic-lined raised beds and wrapped during peak heat to encourage fermentation. A light roast with an intensely fruited profile featuring blueberry, mango, cabernet sauvignon, and dark chocolate notes.
