El Recreo by Alirio Rodriguez - Natural Caturron

This coffee is from Finca El Recreo, owned by Alirio Rodriguez, a third-generation coffee producer with over 30 years of experience in Huila, Colombia. The coffee features the Caturron variety, a relatively new variety from Acevedo, Colombia that is virtually unknown outside that region and resistant to coffee leaf rust with high yields. It is processed using the natural method, where ripe red cherry is laid on raised beds to dry and raked frequently to ensure even drying. The flavor profile includes blackberry, dried pineapple, and grapefruit notes.
