A decaffeinated lot from Finca Los Nogales in Inza, Cauca, Colombia. The Caturra lot (1750 m) is decaffeinated on-farm using an ethyl acetate (EA) method derived from fermented mucilage: cherries are pulped and fermented, beans are submerged in the natural EA solution, then washed and dried. Reframe Coffee Roasters
Yew Meng, an engineer by training, began roasting in 2016 and opened Reframe Coffee Roasters in Penang's industrial Bayan Lepas district as a nano-roastery. In 2019, Yew Meng won the International Coffee Roast Master Championship Malaysia. His engineering background shows in the approach: methodical sourcing, controlled variables, obsessive attention to roast development. Origins rotate seasonally with filter brewing positioned as the primary method for experiencing single-origin character.
