This natural Gesha comes from the Bench Maji Zone in Ethiopia's wild forests, specifically from Gesha Village Coffee Estate. The 471-hectare estate, founded by Rachel Samuel and Adam Overton, cultivates coffee from wild seeds sourced from the neighboring Gori Gesha forest. The estate is divided into eight sub-farms offering unique micro-terroirs. This lot features Gesha and Landrace varieties grown at 1,790-1,840 meters altitude. The coffee is processed using the natural method, dried whole on raised African beds for slow, even drying that enhances berry density and floral nuance. The cup profile delivers blueberry-tart sweetness, silky Earl Grey-cream tones, and açaí-like depth with gentle, structured acidity.
