Alex Reynoso - natural
Bows Coffee RoastersAbout This Coffee
This single origin coffee from Guatemala is produced by farmer Alex Reynoso at his farm in Sansupo, Mataquescuintla region, with processing at Santa Clara mill in Antigua. The coffee is grown at 1700 meters elevation and features a blend of varieties including Caturra, Pache San Ramón, Catimor, and Marsellesa. Natural processed, this lot represents Alex's years of work perfecting fermentation levels and adopting less water-dependent processing methods due to drought conditions affecting the farm's aquifer. The coffee presents intensely sweet and fragrant characteristics with tasting notes of green mango, strawberry, milk chocolate, and Neapolitan.

Bows Coffee Roasters
Run by a small group of friends and family in Victoria, British Columbia, Bows Coffee Roasters centers its work around direct trade relationships with producers, particularly in Guatemala. Their Torch Song cafe in downtown Victoria and a dedicated roastery on Garbally Road provide two distinct spaces for the community to engage with their coffee. Ethical sourcing and support for vulnerable farming communities are core to the business, not just marketing language. Rotating single origins and precision roasting ensure that each release reflects both the producers' hard work and the team's dedication to craft.
