About This Coffee

This Costa Rican coffee is from the Brunca region, produced by the Acuña family at El Aguacate farm. The lot consists of Caturra and Red Catuai varieties. After selective hand-picking, whole ripe cherries are density-sorted and naturally processed for approximately twenty-two days on raised beds with regular turning and moisture monitoring. Sourced through Marespi exporter in the West Valley, the coffee benefits from volcanic soils, consistent mountain rainfall, and the cool influence of nearby Cerro Chirripó. Flavor notes include hibiscus, raspberry, and grape.
