This single origin coffee is sourced from the Batak Region of West-Central Sumatra in Indonesia, grown at 750-1,500 meters above sea level. It is a full city roast, roasted between first and second cracks, allowing for greater body and sweetness. The coffee is rich, robust, earthy yet complex with tasting notes of cocoa, licorice and a syrupy body. It is a medium-dark roast coffee that is dark and smooth.

Founded by Colin Creed, an award winning amateur winemaker who spent over 40 years in the coffee industry before pursuing his roasting dreams, Creed Roasted Coffee is a true artisan operation based in British Columbia. After retiring from the vending machine business and training at the Vancouver Coffee Academy, Colin brings a winemaker's palate and attention to detail to every batch. Roasting is done entirely by hand on an American made San Franciscan barrel roaster, with a maximum of five pounds per load to ensure precision and consistency. This meticulous small batch approach, combined with Colin's decades of sensory experience, produces coffees that loyal subscribers describe as some of the best they have ever brewed at home.
