About This Coffee

Signature Blend is an espresso blend combining a Natural from Fazenda Matão (Brazil) and an anaerobically processed lot from Manos Juntas Micromill (Colombia). Varieties are Mundo Novo and Castillo grown at 1,200–1,350 m and 1,400–2,000 m respectively. Processing includes Natural and Anaerobic Natural. Flavor notes are chocolate, hazelnut and strawberry. Roasted for espresso but also suitable for filter brewing.

Founded in 2015 by Tobias Stehle and Michael Menrad, District Five operates as Ingolstadt's first specialty coffee roastery. The production facility sits in nearby Manching. The roastery maintains direct relationships with South American producers and holds organic certification.
