Seth Taylor Coffee

About This Coffee

This Gesha variety coffee is from Janson Coffee's farms in Panama, located at 1350-1400 meters altitude in the Volcán region on the slopes of Barú volcano. The coffee is natural processed with harvest from December to March 2023. Janson Coffee operates two farms - Hacienda las Lagunas and Los Alpes - on the Talamanca Mountain Range with rich volcanic soil and natural springs. The farms practice sustainable agriculture without pesticides or herbicides, maintaining forests as natural barriers and protecting native flora and fauna. The coffee features flavor notes of peach, caramel, and apple with a fruity yet soft character.

Seth Taylor Coffee

Seth Taylor put his own name on this Montreal micro roastery, establishing a personal, hands on approach that extends from direct relationships with producers to origin travel and intimate cuppings. Starting as a pop up before settling in Mile End, the operation remains deliberately small, with limited production runs that prioritize quality over volume. Roasting is done in small batches with light to medium profiles showcasing origins from Ethiopia, Colombia, Guatemala, Kenya, and El Salvador. The roastery primarily operates as a production facility rather than a bustling cafe, supplying select Montreal specialty cafes through a focused wholesale program. A subscription service with personalized selections reflects Seth's belief that coffee is best when it carries the personal touch of someone who genuinely cares about every step.
