Mexico El Triunfo
Coffee PiratesAbout This Coffee
This single-origin coffee is sourced from Puebla, a small volcanic region in Eastern Mexico, specifically from Chichiquila. The beans are grown at altitudes between 1200-1800 meters and are processed using a fully washed method. The coffee is grown by small producers cultivating predominantly heirloom varieties. The beans come from the buffer zones around El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve. The cooler temperatures and impressive elevation of Puebla create a microclimate suited to coffee production. Tasting notes include Panela, Red Apple, Morello Cherry, Rosebuds, Peppermint, and Pineapple.

Coffee Pirates
Werner Savernik and Evelyn Priesch founded Coffee Pirates in 2012, establishing one of the first organic-certified third-wave roasteries in Vienna. Their philosophy is a fight against bad coffee, aiming to reintroduce the idea of roasting as a wonderful craft that highlights the unique flavors of different origins. They are deeply committed to building direct, long-term relationships with the farmers and cooperatives they source from.
