A washed Sidra lot from Hacienda La Papaya in Ecuador's Loja Province, produced by renowned farmer Juan Peña. Sidra is a variety with traces of Ethiopian landrace genetics. La Papaya features an on-site variety nursery, extensive irrigation network, and its own dry mill and exporting operation. This lot presents an understated but concentrated fruit profile with floral citrus and melon notes, a silky mouthfeel, and clean lingering sweetness. Tasting notes include cantaloupe, lemon verbena, and sugarcane.
