Kolonel Coffee Roasters started in Antwerp in 2010 when Kobe van Gaveren opened his first coffeebar, bringing his background as a trained cook and sommelier to the world of coffee. The roastery launched in 2016, giving van Gaveren full control over the beans he serves. This unique perspective shapes his approach to roasting, where he meticulously seeks out complex flavors and aromas in small, seasonal batches, creating a sensory experience that is both refined and memorable.
