Pirates of Coffee

About This Coffee

Botanica Gesha is produced by Wilton Benitez at Granja El Paraíso 92, a family-run farm in the Cauca region of Colombia at 1,900 meters altitude. The coffee is a Gesha variety processed using the Thermal Shock method, which involves selective harvesting, sterilization, tailored anaerobic fermentation with specific microorganisms, a second fermentation after pulping, and a hot-cold water treatment to enhance flavor and aroma. Light roasted and intended for filter brewing, it offers tasting notes of rosehip, pink guava, hibiscus tea, strawberry, cacao nib, and canary melon. Cup score: 92.50.
