About This Coffee

This coffee comes from Edelweiss Estate on the edge of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania. Grown as Bourbon and Kent at 1600–1800 m, the cherries are pre‑fermented 48 hours in sealed tanks, depulped and fermented up to 54 hours, then washed and dried on African beds for 8–10 days. Tasting notes: chocolate, dried plum and black tea; roast level: medium.
