A washed coffee from the Nyamasheke region in southwestern Rwanda, sourced from the Nyungwe washing station located near the eastern shore of Lake Kivu. Built in 2006 and operating at full capacity, the station works with over 2,000 smallholder producers. Grown at altitudes up to 1,850 masl, the Bourbon variety offers a balance of floral sweetness and bright acidity, with tasting notes of butterscotch, black tea, sweet spices, vanilla, and citrus peel. As it cools, spiced and fruity nuances emerge with a lingering finish and full body.
