A microlot washed coffee from the Karimikui wet mill, part of the Rung'eto Farmers Cooperative Society Limited, located on the southern slopes of Mount Kenya in the Kirinyaga region. The cooperative, established since 1953, has 2,858 active smallholder farmers. This AA-grade lot is a blend of Batian, SL28, SL34, and Ruiru 11 varieties. The Kirinyaga region features rich volcanic soil and 50 inches of annual rainfall, producing fruit-forward coffees. The washed process includes depulping, open-air fermentation for 24–48 hours, water channel washing, underwater soaking for 12–72 hours, and drying on raised beds.
