A Guatemala coffee from San Jose Ocana, grown at 1950m elevation. The varietal is Ancient Bourbon, a close descendant of original Bourbon strains. Processed naturally: cherries are picked at 25–26 Brix degrees, sun-dried on patios for 20 days with palm-leaf turning, then moved to African beds in a greenhouse for 10 more days until reaching 10% humidity. This 2020 Auction Lot offers flavor notes of wine, plum juice, apricots, molasses, green apple, tropical fruits, with a silky body.
