A fully washed coffee from the Aramo woreda in the Gedeo Zone (Yirgacheffe), Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples' Region of Ethiopia, grown at 1,950–2,100 meters above sea level. Produced by 750–800 farmers organized around the Aramo washing station, managed by Dirshaye Ferenju, each farming 1–2 hectares. The variety is indigenous cultivars grown in Vertisol soil. Washed coffees are fermented underwater for 36–48 hours, then sundried on raised beds for 12–15 days. Known for jasmine-like and sweetly spiced character.
