This coffee comes from the Duwancho Washing Station in the Arbegona District, Sidama Zone, Ethiopia. It is comprised of native heirloom Ethiopian varieties (JARC 74158), processed using a distinctive Red Honey method. Cherries are soaked for two hours before placement on raised beds, dried slowly for up to 30 days in thin layers with good airflow. The flavor profile features floral aromas with notes of lychee, peach, and grapefruit. This lot won the Honey category in AFCA's Taste of Harvest Competition for the 2024/2025 season.
