A Typica variety coffee from Hacienda La Papaya, owned by producer Juan Peña, located in the Saraguro, Loja region of Ecuador at 2000 masl. Processed as a natural with no intentional fermentation — cherries are placed directly on raised drying beds and dried for 20 days in a controlled temperature drying room (12°C–28°C). The farm is known for meticulous integral processing, from seed genetics to controlled drying, producing refined and exquisite flavors in the cup.
