About This Coffee

A natural-processed coffee from Colombia, produced through Inmaculada Coffee Farms' Fellows' Program — a project partnering with smallholder farmers in the Cauca department (municipalities of Tambo, Piendamó, and Caldono). The coffee features the Papayo variety, a mysterious tall-plant variety discovered in the southwestern department of Huila, near Acevedo, believed to have recent Ethiopian genetic ancestry. Papayo plants produce oblong fruit clusters resembling tiny papayas. Cherries are harvested by partner farmers and processed at Inmaculada's farm using natural processing.
