Colombia-El Obraje Geisha Washed

A Geisha (Gesha) variety coffee from Hacienda El Obraje in the Nariño department of Colombia, grown at high elevation near volcanic mountains on mineral-rich rocky soil. Originally sourced from Panama in 2011, the Gesha trees are selectively harvested at full red-purple maturity. The coffee undergoes washed processing: whole-cherry fermentation for 20 hours, dry fermentation for 24 hours after depulping, then fully washed and dried on raised beds for up to 16 days or mechanically dried. This lot was the 1st place winner farm at the 2021 Cup of Excellence.
