This coffee comes from the Kibingo washing station in the Kayanza province of northern Burundi, bordering Rwanda. The station serves thousands of smallholder farmers across 18 surrounding hills at altitudes ranging from 1,900 to 2,250 meters above sea level. The coffee is Bourbon variety and processed using the natural/dry method, with cherries dried intact for up to a month. Flavor notes include raspberry tart, malt syrup, rustic sugars, cherry, strawberry, peach, blueberry, mango, honey, and maple syrup.
