This Spring Blend is a collaboration between roasters klcf and ickpa, featuring a combination of two natural processed coffees from Ethiopia Yaye and Rwanda Shyria. The cup offers a bright, complex, and juicy profile with a sparkling mouthfeel. It features tropical flavor notes when hot, transitioning into red berries as the coffee cools.
Launched in 2024 by Ukrainian roaster Vladyslav Demonenko, Kolo Coffee quickly became a standout in Berlin's specialty scene, earning Best Specialty Coffee Shop at Berlin Coffee Week 2025. The name "Kolo" draws from the Ukrainian word for circle, a symbol of unity and community that runs through everything the micro roastery does. Vlad brings serious competition credentials, including World Vice Champion in Coffee in Good Spirits 2022 and Ukrainian Brewers Cup champion in 2023. Recognizable by its bright orange outdoor seating, the cafe serves competition grade coffees roasted on site with precision and care.
