A coffee from the Rubagabaga washing station, founded in 1992, located in the Kayanza region of Burundi at altitudes between 1,600 and 1,900 meters. Grown by approximately 2,700 smallholder farmers, each cultivating less than 1 hectare of land. The variety is Red Bourbon, processed using traditional washed methods including flotation sorting, depulping, and drying on raised African drying beds for approximately two weeks. Flavor profile features blackcurrant and citrus notes, with a fresh, juicy, and vinous character with an almost candy-like expression.
