A premium Yemeni coffee from the Bani Matari region in the highlands of Sana'a, grown at altitudes between 2,000 and 2,400 meters above sea level. The beans come from approximately 100 smallholder farmers, each cultivating around 1,000 trees on plots of less than half a hectare. The lot is secured by Pearl of Tehama, led by producer Fatoum Muslot. Heirloom cultivars processed using the natural method, offering a complex flavor profile of barley malt, roasted grains, rustic cacao, dried peach, anise, cumin, Middle Eastern spice blend, and hints of tobacco.
