Finca El Pergamino is located in Tierras Altas district, Chiriqui province, in Bambito on the western slope of Volcan Baru, Panama. The region is known as "Little Switzerland" with mountains, steep hillside farms and cool climate influenced by Pacific Ocean breeze. El Pergamino Geisha is grown at 1,800 meters altitude on cool, windy slopes with volcanic soils. Owner Yaneth Deducich operates a post-processing plant at 1,920 meters, higher than the growing area, providing cold conditions during drying to prevent excessive fermentation and retain floral aroma, sweetness and clean qualities of the Geisha variety. The washed processing method is used.
