Red Bay Coffee

Red Bay Coffee was founded in 2014 by Oakland-based artist and entrepreneur Keba Konte with a mission to build a more inclusive, equitable, and socially purposeful specialty coffee company and to challenge the historic underrepresentation of Black people and other marginalized groups in the specialty-coffee industry. The brand emphasizes direct and fair trade sourcing, diversity, and economic empowerment across the coffee value chain. Red Bay operates from Oakland, California, and is a Certified B Corporation. It roasts specialty coffee in micro batches, offering a range of medium-to-dark balanced roast profiles and sustainable single-origin coffees.
