This Rainforest Alliance certified coffee comes from Finca Aurora in Matagalpa, Nicaragua, specifically the Flor Y Nata microlot. Grown at 1700-2000 meters above sea level, it features Caturra and Catuai varieties processed using the washed method. The farm is owned by the Ferrufino family, who acquired it in 2004. The coffee offers tasting notes of dark caramel, dried fruit, marmalade, and toffee apple, roasted specifically for filter brewing.
