A single-origin Ethiopian coffee from the Yirgacheffe region, specifically from the Chelbesa washing station in the Gedeo zone, Gedeb district. The variety is Heirloom Kurume (also known as Kudhum), grown at 1,900 to 2,100 meters altitude in a semi-forest shade-grown agro-ecology. Processed using the washed method. Kurume is noted for dense foliage, small cherries, and complex flavors. Tasting notes include jasmine, vanilla, lemon, and peach. SCA score: 86.5.
