This single-origin coffee comes from the Kagumo Factory, represented by the Aguthi Farmers Co-operative Society in Nyeri, Kenya. Some 501 farmers grow SL, Ruiru 11, and heirloom varieties across 186 acres of fertile red volcanic soil at temperatures between 15–27°C. Cherries are hand-sorted and dried on raised beds for 20–30 days until moisture reaches 10–12%, then stored in their pods before dry milling. The flavor profile features blackberries, dried figs, red wine, and chocolate.
