This coffee is from Hacienda Sonora Estate in Costa Rica, a farm that has been in Alberto's family for over a century. The SL28 variety, known for its drought tolerance and excellent cup quality potential, is used in this micro-lot. The coffee is processed using natural drying methods, hand-picked, and dried on a patio for 9 days followed by a 3-day rest at the warehouse. It then undergoes mechanical drying for uniformity and rests in parchment for 2 months before being ready. The natural process enhances the fruit notes in this coffee.
