This coffee is a natural mutation variety called Kimono that occurred on Finca La Serranía in Guatemala, between Maragogype and Catuaí varieties. The farm is located at altitudes ranging from 1,300 to 1,600 meters in a rainforest environment with a unique microclimate influenced by cold air from Sierra de Las Minas and warm winds from the Motagua river valley. The coffee is naturally processed. The plantation uses sustainable practices with shade from pine and Inga trees, and annual rainfall of 2,500 to 3,000 mm.
