This coffee is sourced from the Worka Sakaro washing station in the Gedeb district of the Gedeo zone, Ethiopia. Grown at an altitude of 2,050 meters by 25 smallholder farmers, this Ethiopian Heirloom variety is processed using the washed method. The flavor profile features notes of nectarine, berry, black tea, and lychee. This coffee offers a characteristic Ethiopian brightness balanced by the sweetness of ripe cherries, resulting in a fruity profile with a long finish.
Onibus Coffee is a Japanese specialty coffee roastery and café brand founded in Tokyo in 2012 by Atsushi Sakao, who trained as a barista in Australia and was inspired to bring high-quality coffee culture back to Japan. The name Onibus reflects Sakao’s vision of coffee shops as community hubs that connect people, much like a bus connects places. Under his leadership, Onibus sources and roasts high-quality single-origin beans and blends with a focus on traceability, sustainability, and hospitable service.
