This Ethiopian single-origin coffee comes from smallholder farms in the Guji Zone, specifically from the Benti Nenka Washing Station in the Hambela Wamena district. Grown at 1,900-2,250 meters elevation, around 700 farmers cultivate heirloom varieties on small family plots. The coffee undergoes natural processing: ripe cherries are hand-selected, floated, and dried on raised beds for 15-20 days with regular turning. The natural processing method highlights expressive fruit character and layered sweetness typical of Guji highlands coffees. Grade 1 lot with Organic US (NOP) and Rainforest Alliance certifications.
