This single-origin coffee comes from producer Elias Sanchez and his wife Rosalina Saavedra in the province of Jaén, Cajamarca region of northern Peru. Grown at 1800 meters above sea level, this Catimor variety undergoes fully washed processing. The coffee is harvested from May to September. Elias has been farming coffee for 24 years and transitioned to specialty coffee production five years ago, focusing on quality through improved farm management and refined techniques. The coffee features a plump and juicy profile with flavor notes of marmalade, prunes, and custard. It is a light roast designed for filter brewing with a quality score of 87.5.
