Dumerso

About This Coffee

This coffee comes from the Dumerso Washing Station in the Gedeo Zone of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia, at 1900-2100 meters altitude. Hundreds of smallholder farmers grow Ethiopian Landrace varieties on small garden plots using traditional, low intervention farming practices. Ripe cherries are sorted, depulped, and fermented under water for 36 to 48 hours at the washing station. The coffee is thoroughly washed and dried slowly on raised beds for up to two weeks with constant monitoring. The cup profile features juicy apricot sweetness, bright orange zest acidity, and delicate jasmine floral notes with a clean, sweet finish and refined aromatic aftertaste.
