Henning uses a fluid bed roaster, a specialized piece of equipment that suspends beans on hot air rather than tumbling them in a drum. The result is remarkably even roasting and clean flavor profiles. Al-Gharb roasts lighter than is common in Portugal to preserve the bean's natural characteristics. They source only traceable, sustainable micro-lots, working directly with producers to ensure fair pricing while minimizing environmental impact.
